Having returned from New Zealand, after having had a wonderful time with lots of ideas floating round my head, I hit the UK in all its February glory.
I have new work planned which I hope to be exhibiting during 2020. At present I have one piece in the Freren’s Gallery Open Exhibition in Hull.’ Along the Edge’ is a glass sculpture based on the North Yorkshire coast.
This exhibition runs until 26th of April and is showcasing a varied and interesting body of work.
I will be taking part in ROUNDHAY OPEN STUDIOS again this year, which has moved from the May Bank holiday due to the decision to change the date of this holiday. This year we will be holding the Open Studios on 25th and 26th of April.
I am however only doing SATURDAY 25th and as a result have decided to hold a Preview on FRIDAY 24th from 5.30 to 8pm.
I will also be taking part in the ART TRAIL in SALTAIRE, well worth a visit for both the art and the history. This will be taking place from Saturday 23rd of May to Monday 25th May, the Whitsun Bank Holiday. More information as to where I will be later.
